I have just uploaded 2 revised file to replace the old one in the file library.
This should rectify the problems of computer lock up that some people were having.
It took me awhile to figure out the problem but they seem to work ok now...

I'm away on Holiday right now but this weekend when I get home I should be able to test them out. Thanks for the fixes these up they're a lot of fun to drive.

I just tested the new cpr 4-4-0 and I still get locked up. Now I don't know if I'm still running the old version or not. The package manager told me it was already installed but it looked like it overwrote the old one. The name 4-4-0_with_tender shows up in the package manager with today's date. How do I know? What should I do?

Hi Gene
It sounds like you still have the old 4-4-0 .
Did you delete the 4-4-0 from the Developer folder and the 4-4-0 tender from the CecKerr Folder? If you have nothing else in both those folders you can also delete those folders,in any case delete the blueprint.pak files from both folders prior to installing. You may have to delete the Blueprint.pak file from the Kuju folder as well.

Neither shows up, from the previous install the 4-4-0 would show up from the Developer folder. The 2-8-0 has never appeared in the scenario menu either time. The new version doesn't show up at all. I deleted everything before installing the package version. Now there is nothing.

I don't even know where to find the Development folder. I looked in the \Steam\SteamApps\common\railworks folder but I can't find what you are talking about. Sorry I'm not yet familiar with RW file system yet.

I removed the two old files from the hard drive, and used the package manager to uninstall both the 440 and the 280. I downloaded and installed the latest files from here.

However, I still can't get the tenders to couple to the locomotives. It does seem that the lockups are gone. The locomotives run and look great, but are unusable for now.

Usual support list:
Windows 7 x64
Core 2 3.0 Ghz E6700 CPU
6 GB RAM
750 GB Hard Drive
Dual nVidia 8800 GT in SLI mode
Steam version of RW2

Any suggestions?

Hello Selkirk Fan,

I am enjoying driving your CPR 4-4-0 and CPR 2-8-0 locomotives in several scenarios, particularly MC&SA1920 that Michael Stephan published a while back. I had a hard time finding the asset files to begin with but I was well rewarded to perserver.

My version of both locos asset files do not have a ringing bell sound. Is it possible to add a bell sound to both?
