Strawberry Line

A very modest route release from myself, trying a concept I had been mulling over for some time - the scaled up miniature or model railway.

This one is based on the Strawberry Line Miniature Railway which is located in the Avon Valley Country Park at Keynsham, not far from Bristol. Scaled up, a run round the circuit (effectively a double folded dogbone with four flat crossings!) is just under 4 miles.

At the moment I'm hosting the route exclusively at TrainSimDev http://www.trainsimdev.com/forum/index.php , though if that causes problems I may mirror here.

It's no Stevens Pass or Western Lines Of Scotland, but hopefully it might provide 15 - 20 minutes of entertainment value for a @2Mb download and the only dependencies required are the original Kuju UK/European assets and the Isle of Wight DLC.

I'm hoping in time to tackle the daddy of them all - Train Mountain in Oregon which would be quite lovely to drive a full size version!

@NorthernWarrior - just downloaded this and ran the First Train of the Day scenario. This is a nicely decorated route that is interesting for such a short ride. Thanks for your efforts! *!!thnx!!*
The download was very quick from the hosting site using the browser method (XFinity 105MB download system), it took only a few seconds. Interesting observation - I encountered a red signal at a crossover where I could not tab through so I stopped. I expected to see an AI train, but nothing showed. I looked at the 2D map and there was a 4-car train going through the crossover. It was invisible to me. All the other AI trains showed up as planned. I used RW_Tools to check for anything missing and everything is there that the route calls for. Probably just a visual glitch. Fortunately for me I just picked up Isle of Wight in the latest Steam Sale! !!*ok*!!
Thanks again for the fun route. (I love the sound of the Deltic!)
Best, !*cheers*!
Marc

Strange one, the invisible train. I was pleasantly surprised that the signalling protection at the flat crossings worked without a hitch!
