Ah, I see.. am I only "seeing" this now because the Cajon enhancement pack lightens up the distance fogging, making the holes in data visible?

Hello, plethaus.
As Hack says fine, the problem is due to missing build these terrain tiles, but not due to the "distant terrain" generated by me.
The named "distant terrain" does not generate terrain itself, what it does is generate a low-resolution textures for the landscape in the distance do not seem "bare".

In addition, your screenshots are taken at a distance and height unusual for the route layout. If we do this in any route, we will find terrain tiles without generating, because it is generating the necessary for a normal perspective of train simulation - viewing distance from the ground and distance vision to take a screenshot of the rolling stock -, but not viewing distance of a flight simulator.

Hello again.
One of my beta testers have found the solution: he has generated the terrain tiles in that area; then he has generated the distant terrain textures for that area.

Will shortly we will release a new version of the enhancement pack with this fix included. *!!wink!!*

Hi there.
We've updated the "Enhancement Pack" to version 2.0.
In this version we have fixed a visual defect that happened with version 1.9, in which some "empty" terrain areas were seen in close proximity to San Bernardino. To fix it, we have generated new terrain tiles in those areas, and then we have returned to generate distant terrain textures.

Hmm I have to give this a shot. Two questions I do have. 1. Anyway to make it to west colton for the SanB sub
And 2. Any possible way to make a hump yard in Barstow?

Hello.
Unless arising any incident or anomaly more, we have not considered doing nothing else to the route.
Sorry.

The Ottodad from the other board had this commisioned from his friends. Additional scenery is mostly Mojave high desert, so long boring stretches of emptiness. The LA Aquaduct and many flood channels are there, plus some large mines/quarries, like the phosphate industry in Mojave and Trona.

It has the complete Palmdale Cutoff and some changes to Cajon Pass near the summit, but no third main track. No Valley Sub or Metrolink out of Palmdale towards Lancaster and no Tehachapi Loop to Bakersfield still, unfortunately.

The tracks and trackside assets have been tampered with in the usual Ottodad fashion. Signaling is so-so here and there, but laying down good signaling is a specialty in itself. Beware of the Pontrack.bin, search and destroy this fatal file on first sight or it will blow up your Railworks. !DUH!

If you can live with certain compromises and Ottodad's "touch", it is a good and very long route.

They have installed new forum software.
The links to the downloads probably got changed too.

My Spanish being what it is, I could find neither "Buscar" (search) nor "Descargas" (downloads) buttons.
