That is my own route I've been working on from time to time. I might post some screens of it. It uses just about every asset known to man! *!lol!* I use it for testing my route skills and specifically to try everything on it I can. It started out as a figure eight and then progressed with spurs sprouting off to other continuing worlds.
The shots of the Erie loco are from the C&O Alleghany.

Black they were, with any other color being kept to a minimum. A common nickname for the paint scheme was 13D (dull, drab, dreary, depressing, ...), and within a couple of years, most fans could easily come up with more than thirteen of them and still be completely descriptive. A another, somewhat less common comment had to do with finding a use for all that black ink the bookkeepers wouldn't need.

PC's paint scheme was pretty consistent with the minimalism of the times. OTOH, NS has done a nice job of making a black hood unit look very handsome, indeed.

(edit for typo)

What's the vote count on doing this one? I haven't givin it much thought, although, it would be rather easy to repaint.

Count mine enthusiastically for it. That's their most convincing heritage scheme yet, with the Nickel Plate unit right behind it.

Hi XDriver,
You have done an amazing job with this repaints. I hate to be a stick in the mud, but I have spotted a couple of errors. The N&W should have a blue cab roof and all of the engines should have a very high gloss shine. I don't know if the second option is possible? Also I just wanted to mention that the Erie unit will be a EMD SD70Ace, not a GE.

P.S. I'd like to see the Lehigh Valley unit as well :D

I'm only guessing what the back would look like. This is what I think it should be.
Man! Could you see this in black too? *!!wink!!*

Now that's what rec need to fix on the defualt ES44, the lights are (almost) awalys arranged horazontally, not vertically, in the back, and about the front lights on the real locomotives, I'm pretty sure that's just something NS does.

If RSC were smart at making money, they'd be making a NS heritage pack right now with proper lights haha. Very nice repaints though!

For some reason I thought the roof on the N&W was black from a photo I saw. I'll need to redo the PRR. I like that loco and want it right. As far as shinny. I think I took it to the limit with what RSC has. I can lighten the alpha more but the texture starts too wash out and details disappear. Then because it's in the stupid DDS conversion the texture starts to pixilate. The fact that the TgPcDx file has to be transferred from DDS, they need a better way.

OK. I am positively not going to do the Lehigh Valley. I won't. No way. Won't be done. No sir. Not at all. Don't ask. !*roll-laugh*!
