Just ran a little homebuilt scenario to test this out (ran from Ottawa Yard to the Michigan Interchange) and it ran fairly clean for me. Only really noticeable thing was the issue with the speed limits, which seems to be a known thing and being worked on. Nicely done - the Ann Arbor section is especially fantastic.

I've come to the conclusion, that lots of us old time RW users have most if not all the assets already on our hard-drives.
Comes from purchasing lots of DLC. Its really an excellent route, but as far as fixing it, I'm sort of lost as to what you mean.
Out of the box, it run fine for me. For the users who don't or can't purchase the assets used for this route, it might be a problem.
Its still 100% freeware. A big thanks to the creator, and would really like to see a RW version of the Birmingham,Ala. route and Atlanta
route. Spent many hours in MSTS enjoying them.
Keep em coming. !*salute*!

I agree with this post Dennis. I would also like to say that even if a bunch of assets are missing it generally won't keep the route from loading. There will just be things missing. I once again say rum Lattimers tutorial and then see if the route will load.

when the route will load and a lot of track and other assets are missing, may I ask nice, how can you run the route when there are payware assets in it,asin some posts before you guys was saying there are payware assets.im not angry with anyone,i was just nicely asking how the fix for the route was going.its not truly freeware when there is payware assets.yes im new and trying to understand everything and as time goes by I will.

I think if you read up three or four posts that it looks to me like he is working on a fix so just be patient. !!**sorry**!! . Unfortunately some of this is us beta testers because many of us have a lot of stuff in our RW files and so we don't notice things that are missing because in our game they are there. I suppose the fix is to somehow get a clean copy of RW to run beta tests. No, (he says thinking out loud) that won't work because if I D/L another copy it will still send my extras because I already own them............more coffee. !**duh*!!

One problem created by RSC is that some users have Kuju assets and new users may not. So, what are standard rail vehicle standards? Some scenarios use repaints that some users may not have. Also noted that some track is the SR Cajon from 3D Trains payware route and some is using SR Otto. Signaling is not always correct. Signal at diamonds require a 1T signal with link 0 on one side and link 1 on the other to protect the crossing.

My congratulations to the author for a good Beta production. I have owned this sim since 2010 and I have purchased many pre 2013 DLC items and have down load many more freeware items.
With everything in my hard drive concerning this sim, I too did not have some of the assets presented in this route. So when stuck with lemons; make lemonade. I created my own free roam
using what I have and ran the entire route north to south. This route has lots of potential, however, as a scenario writer I found that the walking speed track rules that apply to most of the route
make it almost impossible to write a long distance scenario with out have the sim tell me that I am over speeding. Secondly I found that the sparseness of the scenery and lack of industrial building
for the sidings disconcerting.
As a Beta version you cannot beat it for the price paid. I hope that the author might take another look at this route and make needed improvements.
