That front one looks really smart in those colours. It's a shame that NS went with the red and not that.

Thanks all for the comments and help. I didn't want to go fiction, but I guess that one just HAD to be done. :D It was easy enough to do. After all. I only had to change the red to green. As I did the Green I decided the yellow/gold stripping needed a slight hue change. All for the better.
I don't plan on doing all the NS heritage paints, but will do what interests me and appeals to the public. *!!wink!!*

Not to be a pain, but are you planning to do the Lehigh Valley one? I would love to see that one in railworks as I come from that area.

You never know. I wouldn't mind if some other skinners did of few of these as well. They can go ahead and post them right here in this thread. Seems appropriate.
After spending some time driving them all I would like to fix a few texture issues with some of them. It seems as I progressed through skinning each one I learned some better tricks. Just little minor stuff that I missed. I would make a one time pack rwp that would cover them all. It would just be a few texture changes and I wouldn't think it would effect anything including the enhancement pack. It's just cosmetic.
Here are the two I'm sure I'll do as NS releases them. The original NS and my Erie R.R. *!!wink!!*

I might give this one some thought. It's nice and bright.

The original NS was mainly in NC, they better send it down here. Lots of original NS equipment survives across the state at the NCTM or other small railroads like the New Hope Valley, which operates an old NS caboose.

pschlic. Thank you; Glad you like it.
I numbered the PRR Brunswick green the same as the Conrail. If it bothers some of you enough, (in case you run them together), I'll change it to 8097 in my update later on.
Some stuff to share. :D

Interesting little vid clip if can here what he's saying. LOL!

I would bet there is some interest in all of them being made. I would particularly like to see New York Central and Penn Central made. After that, Virginia, Interstate and Wabash.

Obviously we want them all. Problems is, there are only so many repainters willing and capable of making sense of the engine's templates. If these templates were easy and accessible, you and I could have a go. It still requires considerable artistry and a keen eye for colour and detail nontheless.

What worries me a little is the chance that NS's law department puts a stop to it, citing some corporate policy, trademark, copyright infringement or whatever. Worse still would be a demand for money, threat with a lawsuit.

Hawk didn't put up that locked "Illegal DLC" thread for nothing, even though that concerned the UK and some private owners of certain prototype engines RSC modelled.

So best be careful and sensible and not post photos and videos of staged derailments and rail disasters using our sim and their (CSX, NS, BNSF, UP) engines and stock.
Perhaps a rule with this kind of meaning should be imposed on Youtube video shown on/directly linked from RWAcom?
