What about any third party scenarios I have from Smitty's locomotive shed? If that is not the case, how can I copy the scenario's from the default Cajon pass and install them into the Cajon Pass with super elevation v1.3?

Third party scenarios you must install them as habitually, with the package manager (assuming they are packaged in .rwp), and they will be automatically installed in 'Cajon Pass with Superelevation'.

Re: Cajon Pass with superelevation v1.4

Unread postby Bermúdez » Mon Jan 14, 2013 4:58 pm

Hello, I just upgraded this modification to version 1.4 (this version overwrites the previous one).

New features of this update:
  • Added "tunnel occlusion volumes" in tunnels and bridges
  • Added "Rain and Snow occlusion volumes" in Barstow's depots
  • Fixed position Barstow's depot (it was floating in the air)
  • Modified astronomical parameters so that the sun and moon appear in the correct coordinates (contribution of Jesús Gálvez)
  • Added new realistic moon with lunar phases (contribution of Jesús Gálvez)
  • Attenuated blue fog of the horizon (contribution of Jesús Gálvez)

Note:
Requires to download the "Rain and Snow Occlusion Volume" of Jesús Gálvez.

Download → Cajon Pass con peraltes 1.4

I do not think it's necessary for you to change anything, because this route is installed separately and not overwrite anything.

Is there a program to do that? Or would you have to do it manually?

Unread postby Bermúdez » Tue Feb 12, 2013 1:40 pm

Hello.
I just upgraded the package to version 1.5.
In updating I modified the values of "tunnel occlusion volumes" by a more suitable, because the above values produced a bizarre fog effect overnight.

Hello.

You must copy and paste the bin file in the following directory:
In Windows Xp:
  C:\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\common\railworks\Assets\Kuju\RailSimulatorCore\OcclusionVolumes
In windows 7:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\railworks\Assets\Kuju\RailSimulatorCore\OcclusionVolumes

I was wondering on this Route when you go past San Bernardino is the terrain flat? Like If I wanted too ad tracks heading torward Los Angeles would the terrain be flat? Just like you make a new Route the terrain is flat goes for miles?

Nope - essentially, it's all downhill to LA. If you want to add track, get a track profile for the line.
Cheers!
