I like that name too. I've been calling it COG because the file name i gave it. *!lol!*
Anyway. Next two just about ready. Need to test drive them now and look for mistakes. Like the others, I want to do more but I'm at my limits. !*hp*!

You're not at your limit, you're at RSC limits. What you have done is rediculously awesome. From the day it was announced that a heritage series was confirmed and the news posted on RWA, I think it's sufficed to say that 99.99% of forum members were itching for repaints. What you've done is filfulled our desires as quickly as they have arisen. Like seeing something in a shop window and having it in your hands at no cost moments later. This kind of thing doesn't happen very often. It is VERY much appreciated !!*ok*!!

Georgia Thunder it is then for the CofG? I like that name for it has a nice masculine ring to it. Somehow I cannot imagine for myself the ES44 as feminine. Never mind. *!rolleyes!*

That Pennsy Pinstripes looks great as well. NS is really doing itself proud by honouring its heritage with these beautiful engines.

I really like Norfolk Southern as a company, as a railroad, and as a paint scheme. However, I do think that after 30 years, it wouldn't hurt for the company to change-up a bit. Maybe pick one of the paint schemes from the Heritage Group and slap the NS logo on it? Pennsy gets my early vote. Can you imaging how good the striping and stallion would look on that paint job? Simple, yet different.

NDORFN. Thanks for the kind words. I am most flattered to say the least! *!embar*!
I've been itching to do the PRR and wow! Keeping in line with "I have to SEE the NS version before I paint it." Bam! There it is! This one should be a breeze compared to the 'Georgia Thunder'. !!*ok*!!
I used two small textures from another skinner and I'm waiting a reply from them, then these last 2 will get uploaded.

Thease heritage locos must look quite odd when seen working with locos in standard NS livery. But they do look quite nice much better than the EWS things that run around here.

These units all look awesome. I have never been a huge NS fan due to the black motive power. I always thought that was a bit lacking in the excitement department. These beauties however are pulling over that way. This PRR one is yet another fine example. They sure are cranking these out fast. We should see all of them in only a few weeks at this rate. I am looking forward to the EMDs.

This one looks real sweet! If I had to choose my favorite repaint. This is it! !!*ok*!!
I'm only guessing what the back would look like. This is what I think it should be.
Man! Could you see this in black too? *!!wink!!*

Hi XDriver,
The Pennsy diesels were not black, they were Brunswick green. It was such a dark green that many people thought it was black, but on a bright day you could see the green. Normally the Passenger diesel engines were painted Tuscan Red (like the color of the 8102) and freight diesel engines were painted Brunswick green. I think this held true for the GG1's as well, but I'm not 100% sure on the GG1's :D

Your Heritage repaints look fantastic, thank you for all of the hard work you've put into these engines, it is very much appreciated *!!thnx!!*

Regards,
Rich S.

P.S. Let you know in a day or two about the back of the PRR unit, rumor is it's been released by Altoona and is on 11A headed to Conway *!!wink!!*
Cheers,
Rich S.

Your Pennsy Pinstripes looks great !!

And few texturing problems I presume? Seems like Kuju forgot to properly texture those small extrusions like hinges, gaskets, insides of handgrabs etc. as so many repainters have problems with them.

It IS a simulation so a brunswick green version wouldn't be wrong. Just saying.

Yes, and actually, as much as I think the Heritage tuscan red PRR loco is great, it would look even better in Brunswick green.
And it would be more appropriate for a freight engine.
