Ericmopar,

I have a question. For those that installed the two previous parts, we should uninstall them.
I understood this upgrade has the full route update. Right?

It probably overwrites everything, but Eric made changes since the last part 2 release and may have removed or changed some of the assets. :D

Not going to happen. Superelevation requires easements and Donner has almost no easements. Relaying the track would break to many scenarios.
Besides the real track going over the mountain segment, has almost no superelevation do to the slow speeds involved.

It's not that, but a person's package manager can get crowded very quickly. Also, uninstalling one of the older packages after the fact will uninstall all of the related folders, including the newer ones.

You are all welcome.

Report: For the release "Donner Pass Scenery Upgrade Final" RWTools shows several invalid paths, all pointing to ...Assets\Assets\Kuju\RailSimulator instead of ...Assets\Kuju\RailSimulator

Nice work with the scenery update, !*cheers*!

That's strange. I wonder if that's why it won't let me upload the whole route to the Workshop. It has been telling me there is an unrecognized blueprint Assets/Kuju. It doesn't mention two Assets like that though.
Was that found in the Route Properties XML?

I take it the mod worked despite the strange report from RW_Tools.

Later that day...
I looked around and couldn't find that "Assets/Assets/Kuju anywhere. I did a file search and looked in the .xml files.

I have been discussing the issue posted by ViaMala with Eric as I had the same issue.
I would be interested in how many others in the community that have installed this Donner Pass Redo have the same issue with the Assets/Assets errors reported by RW_Tools.
I fixed my problem and all is just sweet....I have a theory as to why... maybe.

What I want to know, is where are these "milk bottles" appearing?
How many assets don't appear for others?
I'm not missing any and I don't have an Assets/Assets/Kuju folder tree anywhere...
I'm curious as what your theory is don't keep us in suspense.

I'm wondering if it's actually an original route issue. !!det!!

Firstly, I did say maybe..
My theory was that you may have had an Assets folder within your Assets folder tree as shown by the pic below, which I just added for show. You ruled this out in PM as you stated that you checked that.
If this is the case then there my be a bug in the Route Editor, which tends for me to believe that this is weird and possibly not the case as only 8 tiles were affected. I intend to put all back to your original redo and go check them tiles to see if there are really milk bottles showing or just false strings in the tiles.
I did check the Original Donner Pass Route and the problem is not showing there..... on my computer that is.
