Errrr, yes it is, but, very realistic, I've been to many rural areas in America and it's quite common.

I too have those same issues and after poking around, I think I figured out why some people aren't having trouble with the textures and some people are. It looks like they took those assets from the pacific surfliner dlc and re-used them for the norfolk southern. Unfortunately they forgot to replace the texture paths in a bunch of places. All the textures are packaged in the Norflolk Southern DLC, it's just that they are still referenced in the models to the Pacific Surfliner textures. My guess is that the people that aren't having problems have the Pacific Surfliner and those that are having problems don't.

Regards the textures it would explain it I have Pacific Surfliner installed. Are the textures missing on the Norfolk Southern route? I have asked before but no one has replied. No Pacific Surfliner assets have been used in the routes construction and the asset check box was not checked, if that was the case it would automatically require the surfliner route to be installed when I uploaded it to workshop.

I do not have the Pacific Route.
The textures for the blue 18 wheeler and the large tank "are" present in my Norflok Southern install.
As I previously stated, this is a clean download of my DLC - no Mods. I use it for testing these kinds of things.
I do have the routes specified in your download requirements.

Hi, I'm real sorry you have this problem I looked into replacing the assets but there is nothing in any of the other two routes similar *!sad!*. Not much I can do from my end I'm afraid, might be worth sending the info you have discovered to DTG in the ever so slight chance they may address the problem.

Thanks

The problem isn't with the individual blue 18 wheeler or large tank, it's in the PS_Industrial_Block_02.GeoPcDx and PS_Industrial_Block_03.GeoPcDx files, located in Assets\RSC\PennCoal\Scenery\Blocks\ (assuming you've unpacked the PennCoalAssets.ap file).

Opening those files with RW_Tools, you'll see a handfull of references to the pacificsurfliner folder...

If you change all those paths to point to the textures in the PennCoal folder, it's all fixed...

You also have to fix a reference to vehicle_glass in PS_Industrial_Block_02 to point to the penncoal vehicles texture folder in order for the windows on the cars and trucks to work. I'd post my fixes, but I'm not sure what I can and can't distribute. Maybe if you're really desperate and don't know your way around RW_Tools you can PM me and I can send you the files discretely? !*don-know!*

Let's go with that. It's a lot more interesting than the actual origin of my handle...

Just had a quick look at your update, Mark, I know the route has changed because my Crown Vic had disappeared out of that pond, it must have sunk, *!!wink!!* so, I've put another one in, the standard of driving in this area is shocking. *!lol!* Can't see anything else immediately amiss, I'll go over the layout this weekend with a fine toothcomb, apart from that, brilliant, a fabulous job, well done young Sir, a couple of days rest and recuperation for you I assume after this successful route release. **!!bow!!**

I found some freeware water lillies from a German developer, just looking for my fishing rod now. !*salute*!

I have a personal rule that I don't bother installing a route if it doesn't come with scenarios.
Last night I broke my rule for this route, fortunately QD was working, and I'm glad I did.
I don't recall enjoying a route this much until, well, Majestic Falls. It is beautiful and has the perfect small-country-shortline atmosphere.
Attention to detail is superb. It just looks and feel right. I guess route building is not entirely learnable, there's an artistic factor, you either have it or you don't.

Good job, again!
