I don't know about that. I just used the Pack01 because it's the original ACE and figured most everyone would have that pack. I'd have to give the texture files a good look over and see if they could be interchanged.
Edit.
I don't see why you couldn't use the Pack01 textures with the Pack02 but the Pack03 MAC are different.

Yes! Do the interstate! It wont be complete without one. Plus it's my favorite :D

I don't mean the MAC itself, I mean the ACes that are in the same pack. *!!wink!!*

Speaking of heritage locomotives, I've been playing around with MSTS recently and I found this neat repaint on TrainSim.com, it goes to show, that even msts stuff can look really good.

Well, yes but it can still look really good, even free stuff looks really nice compared to the defualt stuff. But in railworks everything is as realistic as the next pretty much. Anyway, it still looks really good. :D

Of course you realize it came out in 2001, and Kuju dropped support and patching for it like a live hand grenade. All the improvemts since have been done by the user base. But it still looks pretty good for an 11 year old graphics engine.
