Thank you ever so much Thor. While I cannot imagine everything you had to go through, this is greatly appreciated. Thank you for your work, this has helped tremendously! !!*ok*!!

You're welcome 6777A, glad I could add a little bit to this engine. I will see about the scripting stuff, now i am on leave for a week without access to Train Simulator !*hp*!
Please note, Iupdated the complete pack to V 1.1 yesterday, so all who have the V 1.0 should download again, uninstall of V 1.0 not needed - simply install over it.

Hope you all enjoy the engine, cu soon!

Kind regards

Thorsten

Any update on your work on the cab? Also, the link above does not appear to work anymore.

Here's the latest update to the Allegheny and Blue Ridge. (I made a correction to the pilot 2 days ago) It's a fairly large file - 683MB. The cab is still in the works.

Do you need any other things to get the locomotive? The link doesn't work either

You find the actual version here https://1drv.ms/u/s!AhmLWyeq-a6ojIks4gV ... g?e=6hCWGE
I am not sure if the file in the file library here has been updated also - I'll check it with Mike since I think the different links cause some confusion.

Thanks for the updates, Thorsten! That's a lot of time taken on the input mappers and other changes you made. I didn't have any luck with the input mappers.

The latest update for the Allegheny - Blue Ridge engines is now in the library. This contains all of Thor1969's updates and replaces all previous versions. Thanks again Thorsten!

I love your enhancements to the MSTS original and this is even better. You mentioned the cab and its details. I have photos of the Allegheny-Blue Ridge's cab interior in the Henry Ford Museum in Dearborn, MI. I'll share if you PM me with a drop box or whatever address, They are fairly hi rez.

I appreciate your kind offer, but I've done all I'm going to do with these engines. If anyone wants to continue improving them, I would be happy to supply them with the Blender and TS Source files.

Looks like I'm going to have to eat my words! I noticed today that on all 3 Allegheny engines, the only wheels that are turning are the drivers. The wheels on the front and rear bogies of the engines and all wheels on the tenders are not turning. The Blue Ridge engines and tenders aren't affected. I apologize for this oversight and will try to get it corrected quickly.

The patch to fix the wheel issue with the Allegheny engines is now in the library. Look for the Allegheny Blue Ridge TGO v1.1 download and click the dropdown for the patch. Thanks, Bob!

I've been working on an overhaul of sorts in my free time for the MSTS Conversions. So far, only the 9000 hasn't been fixable, but I'm sure I will figure it out. I've managed to get most American locomotives to have their proper fuel and water values. Although it's redundant now with DSGDDR's upcoming ATSF 2900, I solved the derailment issues with most of the 4-8-4s. I haven't tested the FEFs, but 261 and 2926 function just fine. I've also corrected the driver diameter for all the 4-8-4s. The goal is for each locomotive to eventually have its own sim bin file and have more realistic values. So far 2926 is the only one configured this way, but it works. It still needs more realistic boiler performance values because I just don't know those, but I corrected the tractive effort and hp output. Maybe the community can do the rest. I'm not good with modeling or textures so any visual upgrades are out, sorry. I leave that to the professionals here.
If anyone wants to give the WIP version a shot, let me know and I'll figure out how to get it uploaded to the file library. You can also PM me and I'll send it to you.

...There is a different 9000 that will be coming to a sim, just be patient and before long you will get to run it.

I'm still working on the cab, but it's going slowly.
