The big black roads (shown in your screenshots) are missing. I do have Scaleroads and rail. I tried a clear cache, but no luck. There are several places where there are traffic lights and streetlamps over just bare grass. !**conf**!

Have you run RWTools to see what assets you might be missing?

I'm missing the roads as well and I have scale-road. Is it a version of road that only comes with the payware scale-road?

Smart A**. There is a button at the top that says check routes. Highlight the route and do it.

This update was the correct route. It is automatic installation. Just install and run. I will upload it also to this site. Corrects all terrain, siding name, whistle/mile post omitted in some places

O'Brian,

I will also check on those who are not seeing their roads.....

okay, for those individuals who do not see roads you may be missing the following assets.

1. 3dtrains scale roads and rails....You can download from their link

EDIT: You are not allowed to distribute Scale rails freeware. (ADMIN)

2. Make sure that you have the following Route NEC from Railworks as the tar roads are taken from this default route
For example: if you have railworks and check route you will see that it requires the Northeast Corridor Route. This is where it also pulls streets and roads to be utilized in the route.
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\RailWorks\Assets\RSC\NorthEastCorridor\scenery\procedural\us_road_4lane_tar_boule.bi

Corrected update of this route is automatic install at
http://www.fileswap.com/dl/sRiNKHHOy2/a ... e.rwp.html

I will also upload this update tomorrow for the file library

Of course, Northeast Corridor is payware, and in the description it said that it only required freeware assets. Most of us can't afford anyways to buy a route for just the streets or buildings.

I know that I won't be able to afford to get it or any other payware route for a very long time, possibly never.

And also, NEC isn't a default route, it's payware, default routes truly don't exist in the sim anymore.

I wouldn't say most of us can't afford it. Actually by the looks of things it's only around 50% or less that don't or can't buy new items every time something is released.

My apologies to everyone in the community. I actually forgot about the nec being payware. I actually had it so long that I really thought it was part of the default routes. I just couldn't recall. My error, please don't take me to court.lol
