That's great, Bob.

I'm thinking about using your exceedingly well labeled 2D map to spot an appropriate empty car at each industry shown and making up a consist of one loaded car to drop & exchange at each siding. You should have adequate time to finish your scenarios before I'm done thinking about this. My brain may be on the wee side, but at least it's slow.

Thanks again,

In the read me for this route, it says this:

Required assets:

Scale rails Freeware Edition - All 3 editions are required from this page - http://www.3dtrains.com/forums/index.ph ... opic=17128
Scale roads Freeware Edition - Be sure to get the update also here - http://www.3dtrains.com/forums/index.ph ... opic=15933
Rural Landscapes Freeware Edition - Get it here - http://www.3dtrains.com/forums/index.ph ... opic=15573
You will have to be a member of the 3DTrains forum to access these files.

I have the payware versions of ScailRail, ScaleRoad, and Rural Landscapes.

Do I still need to install the freeware versions?

No Hawk you dont. The payware version has all seasons and better textures but are the same stuff.

I finally got around to installing this route. I was surprised how well it ran on my system. I have all the graphics settings at max, but TSX unchecked, and I was getting between [about] 10 and 25 FPS.

Very nice job on the route. !!*ok*!!

Your welcome and glad you like it. I got 2 more miles of scenery done since the release so it wont be long now until it is completely finished. Havent had any bugs reports yet...

Thanks Hawk, I made is as FPS friendly as possible. Back in RW2 I was getting 80 to 100 in the wilderness and 25 to 30 in the cities, now with TSX on I lock the FPS at 30 and get really smooth play. So smooth I even turned of the FPS counter, dont need it anymore, for the NERW route anyway.

Good Day to you Bob,

I have just downloaded your route from the library, but, need to report 2 files in Toripony's asset folder that are 0 kb in size and my RW Tools caught them before I tried to get onto the route. The files are coa_brdg_grdr_slvrNEW.TgPcDx and coa_brdg_grdr_slvr - Copy.TgPcDx. They are both in the Alleghany > scenery > structures > textures folder. Unsure if these are actually required, or, not, to play the route successfully, but, just thought you ought to know.

Thanks.

Thanks ExRailwayman, we found several missing items over the last few weeks, I have been working on the route and trying to get it finished in the next few weeks. I am at MP44 so there are only 6 miles to go. I finished the Element Ethanol plant and the Chandler Industrial park. Almost there. Any missing items will be included with the next update/release.

I creeped up on MP47 last night. Only 3 more miles to go. I think I will make a Christmas delivery. Depending on how this weekend goes. Lots of last minute rush jobs at work, driving me crazy. Can't believe people want tombstones for Christmas presents. Someone actually request a cremation urn for Christmas so they can have it at the dinner table. Gearge will get his last Christmas dinner. Now that's sick.

Well I think it is done, this low res version anyway. I am going to start packing it up tonight for the beta testers to make sure it installs right. I did not change any tracks or anything that would break existing scenarios, only added more scenery. Lots of it. If things go well with the multi core updates later on I will make an addons with a lot more detail scenery, call it the hi rez version. And everything will be free of course. It is a freeware route, made with freeware assets, you dont have to buy anything to use it. Scenarios are being written that will use some payware rolling stock and engines, but thats the only paying you will have to do. Hopefully I can upload it this weekend.
