Phwoooooarh, another beauty from you Mark, well done Sir, take a bow. Fantastic eye for detail and everything is perfectly placed, a wonderful little route, lots to do, and equally as good, if not better than, Majestic Falls, I lurve both layouts for different reasons.

Thank you for creating this for the community, you deserve a lot of praise for this. !!*ok*!!

Cheerz. Steve. !*cheers*!

Since it's free and you can un-subscribe in two minutes why don't you just try it?

You weren't bothering. Just making a suggestion. The author of this beauty may get on here and let you know.

I Tested it and as expected it is missing Natural things (trees, Bushes, Etc.), track (Mainly on the north side of the route), roads, and buildings. i was expecting this. oh well. ill wait till the Halloween or Christmas sales to get Marias Pass. what i can see is verry good. that i can say.

I Know, the route looks amazing. the only thing besides money that kept me from buying it is i had bought steves pass because i just seemed to have a instant hunch that i would like it. i do and its my favorite mainline route since it has so much switching involved in it. as i bought it i have the BNSF ES44DC's that come with it so i lost interest in marias pass a little.

ok enough thread jacking. !!**sorry**!!

Lovely shots Buzz, glad you're enjoying the route, really like those N&W F7's !*drool*!

Regards Marias Pass, yes I used track and a great deal of vegetation assets, the flexi trees especially. Marias is certainly well worth having, it's a very nice route.

I have a couple of fixes to implement, a switch that was not set correctly on the quick drive to the quarry and a warehouse on the industrial spur that was set a few inches to near the track. Also some little additions to scenery in odd places. If everyone is happy with it I'll finalize it with those updates but want to be sure there are no problems folks may encounter when making scenarios. Single line and passing places don't go well in this sim for some reason but I have done a few scenarios for the route and they all work out ok. Having said that I have the usual issues of the odd red signal that does not respond to tabbing for permission to pass occasionally which would fail a scenario, this will disappoint a lot of folks but doesn't bother me. Can't be bothered with scores and all that! On approach to Marlane from Claiborne if a train is blocking the section ahead I get a green on approach to the passing siding/main with a red at the end of the siding/main, the green should be amber, not sure what is going on there? Other than that all is ok I think. If anyone has any issues please let me know.

Thanks

Mark

Can I recommend RWInfo (version 1.4.2)? A wonderful utility, to be found at http://www.10a.ch/en/rwinfo...

This will give you a map of each route in your Content folder. Mousing over it will give you the co-ordinates of any location.

Free roams - from anywhere - are suddenly much, much easier.

Kind regards,

John M
