Hiya Buzz, how ya doin'

To be very honest, I've read the Read Me, made a note of all the assets I have to go and find and then settled down to watch the live NFL for several hours, as I always do on a Sunday afternoon/evening.......So, I'll give it a shot tomorrow and then come back and tell you how I've got on. To be fair, if the only items I'm left missing are buildings, etc, and won't cause any operational problems, then, I'll just ignore them for the time being.

I'll let u know young man, don't worry...... !!*ok*!!

Cheerz. Steve.

Hi! As mentioned in the first post of this thread, all the work is between the West end of the Sparks yard to end of the line, 37 miles east. This includes all the Sparks industries, and all the area to Wadsworth and Fernley. Enjoy. Cheers; Chuck F.

Hi! Sorry you are having problems. My RW_Tools shows that all the rolling stock I've used is in Kuju\RailSimulatorUS\railviehicles, so I've assumed these are all default. The only thing I can suggest is to swap out the ones you don't have for something you do have. Cheers; Chuck F.

Hello Buzz,

I downloaded all the missing assets, APART from, the lawson warehouse from John Lippai, as I cannot find it anywhere and it isn't in any of my packs I've collected from other American layouts. **!!bang!!**
All the rest of the content are on trainsim and the German website. As it's only a building, I'm not fussed in finding it at present, there'll just be a huge gap somewhere..... !*roll-laugh*!

Now I had a problem in getting into the layout and after taking some screenshots in Sparks yard, my game then crashed, and I've been unable to get back into it now, so, I'll need to investigate what has happened.

Chuck has done a great job in putting lots of scenery into the yard, and into the industrial areas beyond it. There would be some great switching work to do in between all the factories and warehouses in lots of sidings and then you can run down to the big yard drop off your empties and come back with some more loads. I've put a couple of screenshots up, but, as I didn't manage to get any operational work done to my satisfaction, I've only covered the yard area, so far.

If Chuck could give us an idea where to locate this warehouse, that would be grand.

Cheerz. Transport Steve. !*cheers*!

It should be "NRD_Commercial Warehouse 5 Pack"

.xml file for Sparks_Reno

Unread postby ChuckF » Tue Dec 14, 2010 3:10 pm

Hi! This is to provide the .xml file for the recent version of Sparks_Reno. I've also sent Hawk a copy.

Edit by Hawk: File deleted from post. Now in the File Library

I got the email that you tried to upload that xml file, but if you had noticed the error, as well as the allowed file types, you'd have known that you can't upload an xml file.

I'll grab the file from your post, zip it up and add it as a separate download. Probably tomorrow.

It's now in the File Library.

I also merged the posts with the existing Sparks/Reno thread.

You need to get the first version of the layout, which has the template in. I'm unsure where you can obtain a copy now, has hawk got one in his library, if not, then Chuck can tell you where to get hold of one.

@ Buzz

The tank cars and cement hoppers are on the trainsim site, repaints done by Jessie James, if not, have a look on his website, Digirails.

Sorry! I don't keep older versions of files unless it's known that the older version is required for the new version's installation, in which case they would be available in the library.
