Unread postby 9of13 » Fri Feb 08, 2013 7:39 pm

They are finished. They are here!
A lot of us who enjoy the Northeast Corridor wished there were NJ Transit and SEPTA trains available. Now although the actual cars arent, repainted cars are!
Image
included is what you see: two AEM7 repaints (one NJT, one SEPTA) two Class 375/377 repaints (one NJT one SEPTA), two HST coach repaints (one NJT one SEPTA)
Also included is the Scenario "Early Morning Commuter: Acela Express" and a PDF about the cars.
Scenario and repaints are all in one .rwp file

Requirements: Northeast Corridor Add-on, Brighton Main Line Add-on and the Amtrak Acela Express Add-On (Acela Express required for the scenario)

You'll need NEC AND Acela Express for the scenario(the two add-ons are separate). But for the repaints themselves-NEC or NEC and Brighton(for the Class 377's)

On a side note, ill also be posting other scenarios on this thread based on these. "Early Morning Commuter" is Planned as a three parter. The one included is for the Acela Express. The next two are for SEPT and NJT. Im also working on two Free roams-One on the NEC and one on the Test Trak.

Cool! I'll be doing some round trips scenario that will include the routes I have on my signature. Gonna be cool once I get it .

For the moment my plans to buy this year is NEC, acela and Throttle. That would be 120 bucks for me. The two Class 375/377 will be left for the 4th of July sale.

It's really great. Everything works, except the AEMs. I'm in the scenario editor, and whenever I load click on the NJT or SEPTA AEMs, my screen goes bezerk. The Mk3s and the Class 375/377 work perfectly.
EDIT: It happens in the scenario too. Whenever I get within rendering distance of either the NJT or SEPTA AEM, my screen turns black and grey and looks like there are dozens of gigantic polygons.

I really don't know all that much about the packaging process, but is it possible the locomotives were corrupted when converting to a .rwp? Just to see, maybe you could upload the actual files of just the AEM7 repaints...

Heres the link for just the AEM7 engines. Hope this works for you!

New link soon to come!

BTW, i gotta dern that came out nice!
If you can tell from my screenshots, I have the graphics at the lowest setting on my comp since its an older machine and lacks the proper processer to run the game at full power. So I had no idea how nice the fleet actually came out! The repaint details shows kinda blurry on mine. If you can do me a favor and post shots of each one like the shot above but from the front i would really appreciate it!

Thanks for the vid! They came out spectacular!!!

As far aas the AEM 7, i have an older beta copy that worked for others. Heres the link. see if this one works. if not, ill try and recreate them and/or the installationand see what happens.
New Link soon to come

try deleting the old AEM7 SEPTA NJT files before installing. Just to make sure. The folders are here:
C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\railworks\Assets\RSC\NorthEastCorridor\RailVehicles\Electric\AEM7

in the AEM7 folder are two folders, one named SEPTA and one Named NJT, Delete these two folders ONLY then install the rwp from the link i just gave you. Dont worry, deleting the folders wont ruin anything. Ive personally done this many times. It will allow a clean installation of the repaints.

***UPDATE:So ive tried to recreate your problem. I deleted the two folders ive sugested and then installed the newer file for the Engines-NJT_SEPT_AEM7.rwp- and opened up the editor. Got them to show:

i really cant understand why its happening to you. Have you tried to just blindly place the engine on the tracks and see if the glitch goes away? It could just be when your placing the enginges. Its he only thing i can think of at the moment.

SECOND UPDATE: a fellow sim user pointed out a few issues with the files i packaged. Im fixing them now and will redistribute ALL of the dl files including the ones with just the engines. Posting the updates in a few.

NEW UPDATE: I havae reworked and repackaged the files. The new link is in the OP.
