Those are big letters, Boeing, so you must be rather proud!

Good horn and bell, but inside the cab they should sound a little different and more muffled than from the outside.
Those engines don't have insulated comfort cabs for nothing.

Your original K5HLL pack has different samples for use in or out of the cab.
The in-cab horn end sample has this pneumatic hiss coming from the horn valve that is failing in your latest pack.

It is a matter of taste, but I prefer your original K5HLL from the B7 Megapack.

By carefully modifying the values in the proxyxml file you can change the way the samples are played and finally sounded out I think. Seems rather complicated, hopefully there is documentation available.

That's not my doing, that's the new TS2013 sound engine being !**duh*!!

Yes, probably it's a thing you didn't do but should have done. Looks like the new game's sounds engine is handling differently wav and dav sounds, maybe you providing .dav sounds instead of .wav will work for the occlusion feature (maybe is only a problem of user not having a separate sound card< dont' know). A lot of things have changed in this new version of game, and new stuffs/mods require (if not deserve, in fact) new way of work with them. !**duh*!!

Kanawha. You don't have EAX enabled? Do it now my friend!

The EAX option was available in Train Simulator 2012, but not in Train Simulator 2013.
In Train Simulator 2013 the option is different and is called EFX.
It is explained here → http://www.railsimulator.com/assets/man ... al_Web.pdf, in section 2.9.3 Audio (page 10 of the pdf document).

Very well done! I love the new horn sound, great improvement from the original. The one thing I would like to suggest, as others have already done, I do wish the interior horn was a bit more muffed. It still is a great addtion to a great model IMO. !!*ok*!!

Yes I do have EFX on *!!wink!!*

I have the extended audio option on, but it doesn't make much difference using the onboard Realtek audio nor on my Logitech Z Cinema.
That big 2.1 USB sound system can make the windows of my game room rattle with the noise of the new ES44.

Will look over the audio effect and filter chains in the proxyxml. Perhaps it is possible to change the way the samples are played back and change the "atmosphere" of horn sound in the cab.

Sir,

I downloaded and installed this upgrade, and I must say....perfect! The sound is "dead on", and I have ran many an ES44. Great job. Thank you for sharing!

Best Regards,

Galen
