PRR K7a Stock Car

Unread postby GreatNortherner » Wed Aug 24, 2011 7:30 am

Hi,

The thread in the WIP forum got a bit long, so I thought I should start a new thread now that I (finally!) released the car.
It's freeware and you can download it here: http://golden-age-rails.com/freightcarpacks/prrk7a.html

Repaints are very welcome, I don't plan on doing more versions of this car. If anybody wants to get the layered texture source file for this model, please send me an email -- also if you may need some rearranged autonumbers in the process.

Cheers,
Michael

Awesome! Thanks.

[later] Just read the info on the download page. Even more thanks for making the Cimarron & Pacific version!

Pending some testing on how to do it, can you explain how to set up the loading/unloading on a route? Can it be automated, or is it by scenario editor?

You beat me to them, and much better I am sure.

While you are at it, CNW, pretty please?

How many boards up is a cow's exhaust port? Most of the decoration would be from there down. Kind of a brownish green right?

I just got done looking at way too many stock car pictures over on rail.net and there doesn't seem to be much poop on the outside of them, just the normal dust dirt and grime. !*salute*!
!*cheers*!

Ok, I'll work on it some more. The bracing and logo panel are a bit bright anyway. (I KNOW I had some red arial numbers....)

Done and packaged, off to the Beta tester today.

Considering the vintage of the cars, I used the earlier 'Overland' UP shield.
