That would be a dream come true, if Tennessee Pass were to be reopened.

Last time I was in Leadville the rumor I heard in talking with an Engineer on the Leadville, Colorado & Southern (the tourist line operating on the Climax Branch) who said UP was doing all it could to keep the line out of the hands of the BNSF, who wants to use the line and get a portion of their traffic off of the Joint Line with the UP.

If not, somebody cares to repaint the SP Tunnel Motor for the spectacular Tennessee Pass?

MadMike and I looked at repainting that model. The layout was a nightmare, and model is lacking in many places. Somewhere the author stated much the same.

You are referring to the RSC SP SD40T-2 of late?
The model I found looks a bit odd indeed, but if it is an original creation for Railworks, it still is a remarkable feat in it itself. Looks a bit like MSTS though.

Never mind anyway, If Bobbel releases his repaints of the RSC SP Tunnel Moter, we are all set. Yippie!!! :D :D

After running your route for a long while I have to say it's incredible. Runs great and looks great.

I might have to have you teach me how to build a route such as this.

Also, when it comes to routes I just love routes like this, nice and long and not having to do too much switching. I prefer to do routes where you don't switch, but head down the line.

I wish I knew how to build a nice freeware steam locomotive to go with your route since it would be perfect on it, Rio Grande steam locomotive.

......Request......

Would you later consider building the Rocky Mountain Railroad route for the game. Would love to see that available for the game. If you built it, I'd build you just about any scenery asset you might need for it, just love canyon railroads. That is, built it after you finished this route.

Thanks for your comments Roger. I have actually only upgraded the scenery on the Minturn to Salida section of the original route built some time ago by Jonathan Lewis. When I get the energy I'll tackle finishing the rest (it takes a lot of work!). But I released what I've done to date (call it "Stage 1") so everyone could have something to play with now. Hi ,

A short clip of this route and you can see how good the route for RW really is, the mine and how the UK Tyne bridge was used to great effect!

Enjoy,

Just got it working, with some help on these forums. You need ScaleRail ATSF for the tracks.

It looks very nice, but I think it would be a great improvement to have proper signalling. The HUD shows signals, but I don't see any on the part of the line I explored. It might also be helpful to show speed limit signs and some rework on the markers for platform, destination or siding. It annoys me a bit to see a platform marker without a platform. Or to see a side line with a siding marker for the whole line.

It is really necessary to have this to make nice scenarios for the route, including a fair amount of AI.

Look at screen shots. There's about a zillion pictures there. Just search Tennessee.
