This model is a fictional Virginian & Ohio Express reskin of Larry Goss’s freeware American Car & Foundry 40ft 10-6 Boxcar. I apologize for the static numbering, but the dynamic num-bering is in the wrong place. You can download the freeware model here:

Run the RW_AssetSetup file to install the model. In the scenario editor the model is listed as: “AAR40ft10-6Box VO EXP”. This model is installed into: Assets\MaineLines\RailVehicles\ Freight\Boxcars\AAR40ft10-6Box_VOX. Sounds require that WJSounds be installed and enabled for the route it is used in.

I sometimes operate the B&O Mountain Sub as the Virginian & Ohio Railroad. The V&O was an HO scale model railroad created by W. Allen McClelland. It was famous for setting a new standard for freelanced model railroads designed to operate in a prototypical manner and was a major influence upon many model railroaders of the time. McClelland used the words "beyond the basement" and "transportation system" to reinforce the idea of moving freight from shippers and industries beyond the confines of his layout.

This package is released as freeware. You can do whatever you wish with it EXCEPT make money with its use.
