This model is a Pennsylvania Railroad Merchandise Service reskin of Larry Goss’s freeware American Car & Foundry 40ft 10-6 Boxcar. I also created a set of white numbers. You can download the freeware model here:

http://www.railworksamerica.com/index.p ... k-repaints

Run the RW_AssetSetup file to install the model. In the scenario editor the model is listed as: “AAR40ft10-6Box PRR”. This model is installed into: Assets\MaineLines\ RailVehicles\Freight\Boxcars\AAR40ft10-6Box_PRR. Sounds require that WJSounds be installed and enabled for the route it is used in.

While the Pennsylvania Railroad handled a formidable volume of less-carload-lot (LCL) freight traffic, increasing competition from trucking companies and arch-rival new York Central led to the introduction of dedicated Merchandise Service in the late 1940s. Running on expedited schedules, trains could cover the 900 miles between New York and Chicago in 32 hours.

This package is released as freeware. You can do whatever you wish with it EXCEPT make money with its use.
