Okay if I understand this secnerio correctly I stop at marker after curve and am to switch to front engine and uncouple togo on and helptrain in trouble. However I can not find anyway to switch to front locomotive and seperate. As soon as I seperate it drops me out of cab and I am unable to click on it. What am I doing wrong?

I am not familiar with your problem but you can switch from one cab to another with the control + command.

I do that. I use the (ctrl =) and go to front cab. But when I disconnect from the consist it drops me out of the train and forces me back to the original cab.

Duh, I knew that.

Not sure but is the train stopped when you switch cabs? I think the train can't be moving to switch cabs. If moving, you do move from cab to cab but I think you don't switched control.

If you are referring to the scenario "4. Helper on the Curve" that comes with Horseshoe Curve, why are you uncoupling anything from the train after setting out? When you stop at MG Track 3 Approach, according to the dispatcher you are to switch to the front of the train (if you haven't before you set out) and wait for the signal to change before proceeding. The helper loco you connected in the yard is to remain as part of the train.

Thanks Gary the directions were confusing I tok from how it was worded I needed to switch to front cab and go help move the loco with sick engineer. I still think it sounds that way based on phrasing.....I just waited and kept train together until signals allowed and he got out of the way. I was scratching my hea don that one.
