Problems with Scenario Markers

Unread postby imphantum » Sat Sep 29, 2012 6:20 pm

Well recently I've been attempting to create scenarios for Sherman Hill and in doing so I've been having trouble with the track markers. Every time I try to move a marker to set the end point and/or beginning point of the (destination/siding/platform) the marker just reverts to it's original position with the two points right next to each other pointing in opposite directions. I have a feeling there is a very simple solution to this right in front of me and i cant seem to see it . !**conf**! !*don-know!* help would be appreciated.
BTW:I am new to posting on this site, I've played Railworks since 2012 came out & downloaded some content from Railworks America, also browsed the forum here and there. I'm going to make some scenarios and maybe sooner on attempt to make repaints if/when we can figure out how to make repaints of the new 2013 Locomotives :D

I feel like a newbie, even though I have been playing the sim and creating content for it since its inception, I haven't actively done anything with it for about a year or so. I am now getting back into it with an emphasis on creating content, but I am stuck at this point.

In my test route, I want to add a platform marker to test a new wagon I am creating, but I have the same problem as the original poster.

I must be making a simple error, but I cannot get the platform markers to stay in their position, or even to stay on the route after saving.

When I place a platform marker, and try to drag one end down the track, it moves back to its original position after I release it. And eventually after several tries, it welds itself to the other marker end and nothing moves.

Any help would be appreciated.

I found the solution over at UKTrainsim. I did not have the markers checked in the visibility window.
