I have been running "Donner Pass directors special" but can not complete it, as I approach the last 1/2 mile marker for "norden west track 1" there is another train on my track so that is the end of the game.

I also notice the signals are weird for the last 5-10 miles as they have no bases on them and are up in the air and not lined up with the track, this does not bother me so much as the bit with the other train on the same tyrack as mine is.

Any help out there?.

Moved to the Problems and Peculiarities forum.

I didn't have any issues with another train on the same track in that scenario, but as far as the signals, if you don't have the detail level at 10 in the in game settings panel, you won't see the signal posts or gantries. Or water towers and other clutter items.

Where do I find the item game level to set at 10, I can see the signals they just are not correct.

If I enable EAX in the settings page what does that do ?.

EAX is for sound from a Creative sound card if you have one in your PC.

Go to the Settings tab in the in game start panel. Click on the button that says "High" that will set detail level at 10. I personally don't fiddle with custom settings. The TSX option is on the first settings box before you click start.

Kinda confusing because RW has two different settings panels. One before you start the game, and one in game. I just put both on high, TSX on.
