Missing Map Info

Unread postby ValleyBoy » Tue Nov 08, 2011 10:14 am

I find that all the text, colour, and other information on my on-screen route maps has disappeared. All I get are white lines on a black background to represent the tracks and a red representation of the player train. All other information that was formerly there is missing. No colour to identify selected routes and turnout positions, no AI traffic or other rolling stock, no refueling location or other icons, no coloured dots at turnouts, no text at all to identify locations or track numbers, & etc. In short all the route info has disappeared. This is true for all of the 19 routes I have in my RW2012. In all other respects the sim is operating as usual.
Anyone have an idea why this has happened and/or what I must do to get it back. I'm not aware of having made any hardware or software changes other than downloading some new routes, scenarios and the required rolling stock.
Any assistance will be appreciated.

Hi there.
It sounds like you may have somehow accidentally turned-off most all of the map legends.

Try this; From your map-screen, in the upper-right corner is a blue monitor-looking icon, "Display", click on that and then you should be able to open-up a right-side fly-out menu that appears. In that menu, in the top part is a green grid-looking icon, "All", click on that and that should re-enable all of the map legends.

Hopefully your map should now appear with all of the various legends now.

Hope that helps. :D
