Switching Steam for Diesels in Scenarios

Using RWtools this used to work now I get SBHH.

I converted the first two "NS Local" scenarios in Bay of Quinte to "steam era". Scenario 1 stopped working and 2 works with the Britkits Mogul. Switching back to an RSC SD-40-2 works anything else doesn't.

Anybody else have this problem.

It is a new install of Railworks as I had to redo my harddrive. I had them saved as the initial Railworks 3.

Initially I brought the routes in from the old save. The scenarios worked but here were no frogs.

Second try I brought the old save over and installed Railworks over that. That is when the SBHH started.

Third try I just brought the Route, Assets and Source over and installed over that.

I also tried in my cloned Fort Kent Steam and can't switch there either.

EDIT: The old "steam" loco conversion in Ohio Steel works but can't replace now in the other scenarios.

A partial answer regarding converting a steamer to diesel in a scenario in RWTools is to delete the tender first and then replace the engine with the diesel of choice. I did this successfully on the Big Horn route. Jim Friedland passed this tip on to me. I haven't done this for a while so it's possible that RW3 or a later version of RWTools has negated this.
