Portland Terminal in 2012

Unread postby robbit » Wed Sep 28, 2011 2:04 pm

Well I was coming from East Dearing headed to Union Station, When, after going over the swing bridge I noticed that there must have been a big storm come through because:

I noticed that parts of the bridge had been washed away.

So I climbed into the cab to call it in when I noticed that,

somebody had taken my view.

Hope they bring it back soon. *!sad!*

See more info from G-Trax here. http://www.gtraxsims.com/news.htm#092311

Since the E7 comes from BritKits, I believe he is stating the fixes need to come from Dick.

Hi, robbit. I found that the PT route takes a LOT of GFX power to run with all objects visible. The very first time I ran it I took the Commercial Street run with the E7 and there were NO buildings visible at all, as well as many bridge abutments and trestle components! I visit that area a lot (in real life, that is...) and it was very strange to see nothing of structures. I had to increase my in-game settings on the laptop from "Low" to "Medium" with the corresponding hit in frame rates. PT is a frame-rate killer (echoing what I was told by arizonachris). Even with my new home-brew desktop with dual HD6950s I only get 14 - 20 FPS with TSX on and the Options set at mostly highest (I have a few settings set lower in "Custom" mode). Other routes I can achieve 50 - 60 FPS in FRAPS. All that said, try increasing your graphics settings in-game on the "Options" page and see if that helps.
Hope it works for you! !!*ok*!!

Regards,
Marc
