Becoming more and more frustrated with this game.

Seems like everytime I turn around there is another problem.
I made this track section 2 weeks ago, everything was fine until today. I have tried to replace it, same thing, I've split the track then welded.
I even deleted the whole track section and it won't connect to the other track sections. So now what?
Do I have to verify again and lose all my addons yet again? I've tried to connect from both directions with the same reults.

When you delete the junction pieces, do you see red triangles on all of the track ends?
The word?..The word is no. I am, therefore, going anyway..

Have you been successful with these tracks before?

Do they have a "Track Cap" model in the blueprints? (If these are your tracks)

These are GM's tracks from the download library, never had a problem with them. I have been creating my custom route with them since day one.

I have had that happen and noticed I had SNAP to TERRAIN clicked on. See if that will help by turning it off if you have it on.

I was asking because you didn't say what file library you got it from and I was pretty sure you didn't get it from the file library here at RWA.
Sometimes details can make a world of difference.

I know this is a stupid question, but here goes.
Is the track your making the turn out with, the same as type of track your trying to leave ?

( Sorry about trying to exsplane this,I have trouble remembering words that I need use to say this right )

I have had this problum a few times till I reliazed I was trying to use 2 differant types of track.

To make a turn out from say a mainline type of track, you need to make the turn out track a mainline.
You cant use a yard track to make a turn out from a main type of track.

Also, the type of ties, need to be the same.
The track only needs to only be as long as it takes to make the switch.
I dont know if that made sence but I hope that helps,

The turnout piece you have highlighted in yellow in the pick is close to being too short (sometimes it works at that length, sometimes not). If the join at the far end of that piece is too close to the frog that gets inserted where the rails cross, your junction won't weld. Remove that highlighted track piece, cut your siding back a little bit further (make sure the main is cut off clear of the frog area too) and then try your junction again. Note you may have to remove a smidge on the near main end too, depending on how the siding connects after the cutting we did. Make sure there are no joins in the track between the frog and the switch point.

Thanks guy's I'll give that a shot. I just don't understand why it was working like that for 2 weeks then all of a sudden yesterday it doesn't. The turnout was working properly, it didn't look like the turnout was welded together like in the picture above.

Well, I still don't know why or how it happend, but I fixed it. I wound up having to delete a large section of track and redo it the same way it was. Stumped on this one. !*don-know!*
