Painting Issues

I'm having trouble saving a texture file using Photoshop & the Nvidia Plug-in. According to a tutorial posted on Train-Sim I was suppose to save in DXT3 file with explicit alpha and set it to "Generate MIP maps. I did that and when I import it into RS BinTools it says My file has to be saved in 32bit ARGB Uncompressed.
How do I do that?
Thanks!~

I use RW Tools to convert the TCPGX files. RW tells me whether the file is DXT1 or DXT3 and how many mipmaps it has. I then enter that info in the DDS save utility and DO NOT allow the utility to generate mipmaps.

I tried that but i get this error:
No header file found in Tempfiles for this .dds file, cannot process further.

RWTools can be a bit tricky to use for textures sometimes. It one reason I switched over to using RSBinTool.
See if this thread helps any:

Be sure to empty the dds folder under RW Tools before you convert a new tgpcx file.

If your nvidia plugin is like mine (and I assume it is) when you get the save screen, in the upper left corner is a drop down list of the various dds formats you can select from. Just choose the one that says "8.8.8.8 ARGB 32bpp unsigned".
