loading issue

So recently I got a new gaming laptop, and when I use either the 32bit/64bit in any scenario with any engine it loads for a quick second then a black screen and the game freezes. However, if I use the 64bit DX12 this issue does not happen. Does anyone know how to fix this for the 64BIt version?

Exit TSC, then open Railworks folder and delete the PlayerProfiles.bin in Railworks/Content
You may have the aspect ratio misconfigured. It will rebuld to default when you restart TSC.

Just wondering, why do you not want to use the DX12 64bit version ?

I have basically the same issue but neither 64 or dx12 will run. Get the Opening Screen showing 64 Bit then crashes. Have tried everything I can think of, deleted Steam and reinstalled, same with Railworks. Nothing works.
Had My Computer Checked everything is as it should be. Tried everything people suggested, still nothing works. Everything was great until the update so it is a DTG issue.

As an outside chance, try running the setup_audio.bat It is located in your Railworks folder. This was an old fix and I'm not sure it still applies.
If you have an NVIDIA GPU double check if Railworks64.exe is listed in your 3D settings list of programs.

I look in the NVIDIA 3D control panel and went to configure surround, PhysX, and changed PhysX to auto and this fixed my issue must've accidentally messed with those settings without out knowing and this fix my issue. !*roll-laugh*! !DUH!

I an still the same. Looked at PhysX it is in Automatic. So I just don't know what else to do but what for an answer from DTG.

Suggestion from another forum to try for people having problems getting 64 bit to run:
1) Launch 32-bit version
2) Go into the settings menu and reset to default
3) Restart the game as required 'Remember, this will be 32-bit by default even if you are using a 64-bit machine'.
4) Exit TS 32-bit.
5) Launch 64-bit version, it should all be working.

Dave,
Are you on the desktop? Has it got a Nivdia Panel?

Have you checked to see if you have added Railworks64.exe to the list of programs in your 3D settings?

Try this:

Go to Windows/System/Display/Graphics/Custom Options For Apps Filter by all apps, scroll down to find Railworks64 and set it for High Performance. Do the same for Railworks.Restart your computer and test.
