Hello. I opened up the bin file with RW Tools 2016 for the ATSF PA to increase the performance. I increased the settings for the horsepower, tractive effort and the maxforce saved the changes. Started the sim but there seems to be no changes in performance . Do I need to edit the engine script? If so I tried opening it with wordpad and notepad but it opens up in a strange way. How can I open up the engine script? If I need to.

You can only edit scripts that haven't been compiled. They are named something.lua.
Compiled scripts (something.out) can't be viewed or edited.

Did you delete the blueprints.pak in the BostonAlbany folder after making the changes in the simulation .bin? I find it very easy to forget this small step and then wonder why my changes haven't taken effect.
