44 Tonner texture error out of nowhere

My NERW repaint of the default PRR unit has developed a texture issue out of nowhere. I tried deleting, redownloading, and reinstalling several times, and tried that with the PRR version on Steam too, and nothing has helped.

I did also already PM the member who originally painted it but he isn't involved in the game much anymore and has no idea.

Any thoughts?

My 2 cents -

The Black and white stripes are from the Chassis_nm or Chassis_nmc textures of the original PRR unit. It may have been rotated and then saved inadvertently so that instad of being on the plow area it is on the side elevation. The Chassis_Nm and _nmc should be the same, so check if they are and if not correct.

In addition to John's recommendation; your number textures are missing, so try going into the original ap-file and dump the original textures into your repaint's folder structure. Of course, you'll first want to check any Geo-files or bin-files that reference the cab numbers and ensure that they are referring to the correct texture location, and not trying to "borrow" numbers from a different dlc that may not exist on your installation. If everything checks out, then the culprit is likely the texture files themselves, and you can proceed overwriting them with the originals from the ap-file. Then, the only question would be, how the textures ever became erroneous; but if the overwriting method solves the problem, I suppose it really doesn't matter. Good luck!
