Hi Folks,

Been trying to get the LP Simulations GP38 Enhancement Pack to work with my BNSF GP38's and Clinchfield GP38's. I've met the required software conditions and followed the instructions carefully. The sounds obviously installed correctly and the locomotives sound absolutely wonderful.

My issue is none of the lights work. I have Lens Flare enabled. When I press the HUD switch - it doesn't indent as it normally does when changing headlights - no numbers appear indicating a change. I tried the 3D cab switch - it changes position just fine however none of the locomotive lights ever come on. The number boards are lit by default on the BNSF pack. I've used the "H" key and the switch in the cab changes position but no light is ever comes on.

I've worked with LP Simulation on their download page - but I think I would get a broader audience here. Anyone get this to work and/or have some idea how to fix my issue?

Hi Folks,

One other thing I noted after installing the LP Simulations Pack - is the DTG BN Beacon on top of the GP38 still has the metal mount but the glass cover is gone. Honestly - I'm new around here - only had the pack for an hour before trying the enhancements - so I don't know if this was a problem with the original model or introduced with the enhancements.

I have all that installed also and have the same issues. The VNHRR Hiline works just fine but the ones you mentioned don't seem to respond to the light switch in the cab, the HUD button, nor the H key.

I don't know if you are trying to get this to work on a QD but I just discovered on it the lights come on AFTER to go into the asset list on the right flyout and check the MLWAudio 16-645D assets.

Same for the Clinchfield.

I was using both QD and one of the canned Marias scenarios that came with the BNSF pack.

The flyout window is only available in the Scenario Editor - right?

So I have to do this on every scenario I wish to use the locomotives on - or is this a one and done?

Tried it in the scenario editor - checked it - doesn't prompt me to save and no change.

I'm probably missing something on how to call up the "right flyout".

Someone can correct me if I'm wrong but I think if you check both boxes it's good for that route. Maybe you can reach out to Lucas and see if he can do something in the enhancement pack so we don't have to mess with this.

Oh - so the "right flyout" is in the Route Editor - I was in the Scenario Editor - let me try it there. Super newb.

Hi Folks,

I noticed two more issues - not sure if this is related to the LP Enhancement.

First Issue: As pictured below - this is the Beacon on top of the BN GP38 - is this normal?

Second Issue: The speedometer in the cab reads about 8 MPH slower than the HUD speed.

I have a 'clean' version of TS that I use for testing sometimes and here you have it. And the speedometer matches the HUD on this also.
