As per the title. I'm playing in online mode. Even the community button does nothing when I press it. Latest offerings etc don't show either. Perhaps Putin is blocking me.

The DTG store closed a while ago, IIRC. This was what the button linked to. Now you have to again buy everything through the steam store.

People on the DTG forums say it is still working for them.

It has to do something with the steam settings. I had the same issue, but fixed it somehow. If I remember, I'll post that.
*Edit* I believe this is how to fix the store in game blanking out:
Go to steam settings, go to In-Game. In the In-Game section, check the box that says "Enable the Steam overlay while in-game." That should work, but I'm not 100% sure.

That is already ticked. I had a similar thing happen a couple of years ago and had terrible download speeds of hardly 1 MB/ps and it was showing the 2 featured items as DLC from about 10 years ago. I contacted Steam about the slow download speeds and they said they could do nothing about it. A couple of days later the speeds went back to normal and it was showing the correct featured items. I don't know what my Steam download speeds are at the moment as I haven't downloaded anything. I have opened a ticket with DTG so I shall wait and see what they say probably nothing much as usual.

I tried verifying the game files as someone on Steam suggested but that didn't work.

Mine has been greyed out for several years, just gave up worrying about it. Even yearly updates did nothing.

Nope. Someone on the DTG forums had the same problem and ticked the game overlay box and the store showed up which didn't work for me.

Pardon my ignorance but why is this so important, you can always access the Store other ways. I would never access the store "in game". Is it just an irritant that you feel the need to scratch?

I did mention in my last email to DTG support that this issue could have started with a Windows 11 update that I had on the 9th of March and they replied that they don't officially support Windows 11 in TS2022 so we cannot help you.

Furthermore, we do not officially support Windows 11 as stated in the minimum system requirements. Therefore, you may experience technical/compatibility issues we will not be able to resolve. Please see the minimum system requirements on the Steam Store page for compatible operating systems.

Anyway, I shall leave this small issue for now and hopefully if it is a Windows 11 update that caused the problem may be a future update will fix it.

Thanks to Steve of DTG on the DTG forums the problem has been solved. Under General in the Train Simulator properties both of these options were unticked 1 Enable the steam overlay while in-game and 2 Use Desktop Game Theatre while Steam VR is active I ticked both of these and now the store button is active. I suspect it was number 1 not being ticked as the culprit as I don't use Steam VR. I don't know how these became unticked as I rarely go into these settings. Just another software glitch.
