Alco DL-109 Headlight

Now this is really a strange one and has me completely puzzled. First a little background.

When I first purchased this DLC from Steam, I was running TS in 64-bit mode. No problems there at all. Last week, I decided to purchase a Raildriver from P.I. Engineering. I downloaded drivers that were tagged to TS 2019, but seeing that the core game has remained the same I didn't think it would make any difference. When I run TS in 64-bit mode the headlight on the DL 109 works. But running in 64-bit mode with the Raildriver, the Horn and Bell toggles do not work so I tried running TS in 32-bit mode and they work, however, the headlight does not work in 32-bit mode. I cannot even trigger it using the HUD. It just will not light. The interior cab lights work but not the headlight. Very strange. Any thoughts?

Well I solved my dilemma. My preference was to run TS in 64 bit mode anyway, but I could not get the bell or horn on the Raildriver to work in 64 bit mode. I had Macroworks 3.1 installed for the Raildriver to which I configured the bell, horn, sander and alerter. This was the problem as the Raildriver with its most current update, is already configured for these functions. Simply uninstalling and deleting the Macroworks folder solved the problem and restored functionality to the Raildriver for the horn, bell, sander and alerter. The headlight for the DL-109 still doesn't work for me but I no longer am using the 32 bit mode anyway.

I just purchased this DLC and I am VERY disappointed.

First off, where's the accountability on putting a crappy product on the market? Navigating through Steam to run 64-bit just to get working headlights is not a reasonable solution. The creator needs to fix this. Furthermore, when I ran 64-bit, the headlights worked on my locomotive but not AI trains headed by DL109's. And when I'm backing up with two DL109 A-units, the second locomotive's headlight doesn't light up when switched to it.

Additionally, on my maiden voyage after switching to 64-bit, I left Hartford northbound and didn't even make it to Windsor when the horn and bell froze and wouldn't turn off. I tried everything.

This is a bad product. The creator needs to fix this stuff. I'd be okay troubleshooting if this was free downloadable content made by the community. But paying $20 for a DLC presumes that it's been vetted by the Dovetail leadership and is wholly up to snuff. It most certainly isn't.

First off you don't need to "navigate" through Steam to run in 64 bit. Scroll down in your Railworks folder until you come to RailWorks64.exe create a shortcut and put it on your desktop. I'm sure the rest of it can be worked thru since many many of us are successfully running raildriver.
