I installed ES400 Sounds from searchlights studios. now i do not have any cab sounds. what do i need to do to fix it. i installed right from the installer and made sure the path was right.

You have to enable the sounds in the world editor. You have to make sure they checked off in the flyout list on the right side in the editor.

Not sure if its a install problem but. i checked the box in the world editor. It still does not work. the SD70 sounds work but the es400 sounds.

Each sound enhancement pack has its own box to check. Are sure the box for the ES44 sound enhancement is checked? is it all the ES44's you can't hear the sound or just a specific one that doesn't have cab sounds? If it is then you may need to ask the guys at Searchlight for further assistance. All I had to do for my install was ensure that all the addon sounds had the appropriate box checked and I haven't had a problem hearing the audio.

Yes the box is checked. i do not have any cab sounds.

Which locomotive are you trying to install this into?

The pack only works with the ES44 model without the break diffiucult increase/decrease feature. So you'll have to replace the loco in your scenarios. I hope this works to you, the sounds are great and it also improves the controls
