DXTBmp being weird.

Unread postby TheR62Fan » Mon Jun 07, 2021 9:01 pm

Now yes I still use DXTBmp in order to convert textures to DDS and vice versa (I'm not a photoshop user. *!greengrin!* ) For a long time it's worked pretty well and all, but as of recent weeks has been giving me an "access violation" error. I notice it happens when importing 512x512 bmps and such, but the problem is it does it to every file afterwards, slowing progress to a stop. Has anyone dealt with this before and know how to mitigate it?

Any help would be appreciated. *!!thnx!!*

I've attached a screenshot below in order to show what I'm talking about:

I use DXTBmp all the time, including last night, and haven't seen this issue. Suggest you delete your copy and install the latest copy. Hope that helps.

Are there any more updates past 4.00.97? Because that's the latest one I see available and is the one I have. Nonetheless I will attempt a reinstall and hope that refreshes it.
