Resizing texture files?

I have tried this countless of times as a .dds file in paint.net, but when I want to import it back to .TgPcDx, RSBin Tools just says: File size doesn'tmatch or something like that. How do I correctly resize texture files?

Take the original TgPcDx rename it whatever it is.TgPcDx.orig. Then go find any TgPcDx file that is the new size you want and name it the same as the original one. Doesn't matter what it is as long as it's the right size and the same compression as your new file you are trying to import. Now when you import it will be the right size and compression that you are looking for and it will replace your image like any other change. As soon as this is successful you can either delete the .orig or save it for future messing about.

Hello, I'm by no means an expert, but I use paint.net and have had success resizing images. It may be the settings you use to export from paint.net. The attachments show the settings I use. I've not used RSBin Tools, so I can't be of help with exporting from it. I normally export the .dds from the blueprint editor and I occasionally get an error saying something like 'expected (X) mips and got (X)'. In that case I just uncheck the 'Generate Mip Maps' box and it exports.
