Attempting to fix Clinchfield SD40s brakes, need help.

I am attempting to fix the horrendous brake physics on the Clinchfield RR SD40, and have come to the conclusion that the problem lies with the brake handle scripting, rather than the brake physics settings. I have scoured other engine.BIN files and compared them with the CRR SD40 .BIN file to see if I could find anything glaringly wrong, but no such luck. Do any experienced locomotive creators here have any ideas on where I can look for potential issues? !*don-know!* Thanks.

If it's the script you're SOL.

That's what I was starting to think. Oh, well, I'll just have to see about finding some Clinchfield reskins for another, better functioning locomotive. Thanks.
