I Can't Delete an Asset

I used some barges for my route. I loaded the barges on a grass area so I could see what they looked like. Later I saved my progress on the route. Next day I installed new barges in the water. Then I deleted the original trial barges that were still on the grass area. Later In my session I saved my work. The next day I opened the route to do some more work on my project. The barges that were on the grass appeared again. I deleted them again, saved and closed the program. I then opened it again, and the barges were there again. I have repeated this over the last few days. Can anyone help me get rid of the barges on the grass?

Clearing the cache from the Tools menu is worth a try. It won't do any harm and could fix it.
