I am having some trouble changing the roadname on britkits shay locomotives is it possible if anyone can show me a step by step instruction of what should i do

Let me ask a quick question and then I can do that. Are you just having trouble getting the flyout to appear or is it about the numbering system?

i dont know where to go change them at the blueprint editor or somewhere else i opened the blueprint editor i have never used it before and nothing came out.thanks though

OK here we go:
Open the scenario that contains the loco that you want to renumber.
Hit escape.
click world editor.
On the top left flyout window click on the scenario tools. (that's the little bus looking thingy.)
Now you will see a warning ....click yes.
Now you'll see the large bus thingy in the middle of the screen. Left click anywhere not on there release and then maneuver with the mouse and arrow keys until you get a side view of the loco.
This is the only kind of tricky part until you get used to it. You will need to click on the loco one or more times until you see the edge of a flyout high on the right side. It is best to pin this open (use the little tack symbol to do this.) after you get it showing. Now go to Dick's instructions for the numbers and road names you want to use. Make sure you use 'x' for any blanks you want. You must have the right number of spaces when you get done for things to show up.

When you get that done you will need to repeat the process with the tender.
