Ghost numbers on SD40 repaints

I've noticed a peculiar thing happening with repaints of the default SD40-2. On some of them, a ghostly, blobby "3210" in white appears on the cab and visually interferes with the cab number. It seems to mostly happen on repaints that don't use dynamic numbering. Any thoughts on how to prevent it?

Buzz posted a fix for this way back. It’s in the RWA library, I can’t remember exactly where but I do know it works. Browse the repaints section is my advice.
