I really don't have any luck with the program of Train Simulator 2020. I don't even know why is the program not working properly now? All I did is to click the icon Steam on my monitor screen to startup the program but got " Not Responding " and doesn't go that far from startup. Don't ask me why is the program not running? So what should I do now with this program? Uninstall then reinstall them or you might have a better idea to get the program up running again.

If Steam is not responding it has nothing to do with TS 2020. Maybe you need to check your Steam install.

It's working now as I let the program running for a good while with "Not Responding " then finally got into Steam program. I am not sure what is the actual problem.

Steam was running slow earlier today. Remember that Tuesday is Steam maintenance day and there could be a period where there are limited services or no access. This usually lasts about 1/2 hour.

I had this problem about 4 hours ago and gave up trying. Tried it about half hour ago and access made, now ok.

Yes, this happened to me last night. I clicked over and over again on my taskbar icon for TS but nothing would come of it. So I then thought of re-installing TS. I backed up everything in my "Backups" folder. But backing up usually takes 5-6 hours at a time... (This is why I need an SSD)! I went to sleep letting the computer back itself up. The next morning I wake up and TS is working fine.

As you can see from my join date I have been at this for a long time and I have NEVER done a reinstall of TSxxxx EVER This is the third or fourth computer I have run TS on and have always just copied it over from one to another. I don't know what anyone accomplishes by deleting the whole game and reinstalling it. Perhaps one should (the horror of the thought) get out a notebook and pencil or pen and keep a record of changes you make so if the thing goes bonkers on you you can go back to a restore point of some sort where things run normally again to eliminate the need for such drastic measures.

As I said in another thread why not try restarting your computer. They are not perfect and sometimes get confused and usually, a restart sorts things out.
