Sherman Hill FPS wonky for me

So when I drive the UP es44ac the fps dropped from 50-60 to now 40-50 but when I use the SD70m the FPS is better. I'd tried on other routes and the FPS seems fine though example morristown & coast line 60-70 !*hp*! Should I try uninstalling and reinstalling Sherman Hill? Furthermore, I contacted dovetail and they said " You appear to be running your GPU at a resolution it's not entirely suitable for please try reducing your settings if you wish to get the smoothest possible frame rate". How do I fix this should I fool around with the nvida control panel or fool around with the in game settings. Side note I'm using the 64-bit version.

Sherman Hill is a little more of a resource hog. If you want to smooth things out try in game running your sliders down a notch. Try turning off Procedural Flora first. That may be the bad guy for you on Sherman Hill.

Absolutely not.

The Sherman Hill ES44AC runs a few fps slower and the Sherman Hill SD70M for me as well. Its about a ~5 fps spread for me. I don't think this is an error or issue at all, just a more detailed model/cab using more GPU resources.

Your DXdiag shows the resolution that your system is running in. I doubt TS is actually running at that resolution in game. Go into your in game settings, click on the 'Graphics' tab, and look what resolution you are running the game at. Obviously the lower the resolution, the faster your game runs, but with less detailed graphics.

40-50fps is fine for a GTX1060 on a busy scenario on a detailed route.

Turn the cab light off. It is on be default. From memory, I think it is the L key that turns it off. It even affects the FPS when in outside view.

I'm running the game at 2560x1440. I'm running it at the resolution because that's the size of my monitor.
