Problem with the locomotive

Unread postby cnbalasub » Sun Jun 17, 2018 7:45 pm

Recently I run the scenario, [SD40V1] The Final Minutes on the route of The RaceTrack - Aurora to Chicago. All I see is the couplers of both locomotives. Why? Yes I have the files in Assets with RSC\SD40BnsfPack01\RailVehicles\Diesel\SD40-2\FURX_exBNSF\Engine\SD40_2FURX_exBNSF.bin also nd.bin too. All are there but how come not showing the whole locomotive just the couplers. Is there I can do to look into and see why the files are missing?

Your help would be appreciated.

Thank you,

John

Can you take a screenshot of the engine file and post it here? I'm sure someone will spot the problem.

No the engine file, you know like go into the file folder and take a screenshot of the stuff inside the engine folder of that particular locomotive.

You are missing the GeoPcDx file in there. You need to copy it from the default and paste it in here.

First want to say thank you to you, Buzz and doesn't help with this problem to solve -- still the same with nothing else except the couplers. Yes I did copy/paste SD40-2_BNSF.GeoPcDx file from the folder in RSC > SD40BnsfPack01 > RailVehicles > SD40-2 > BNSF > Engine. Is that correct to copy/paste the GeoPcPx from that folder? If not, then tell me which GeoPcPx file to copy/paste?

Thank you again,

John

In the installation instructions there is a folder called Other important Files. Read it and then run the SD40LeaserVol1GEO.vbs program that's in there. It should put the proper Geos in the proper place.
