Amtrak F40 horn lever not working with space bar

I was running the Amtrak F40 from the California Zephyr pack and noticed that the horn will not work when the space key is used. The bell doesn't work using the B key. I have searched here but can't seem to find anything on it. Has anyone else experienced this and if so were you able to fix it. The F40 units that came with the Soldier Summit work just fine. Any help is highly appreciated.

Are you using the driverless units?

exit the game and restart the scenario and see if that works.

I didn't check to see if it was a driverless unit. I've restarted numerous times and it's still the same. The unit is Amtrak 282 F40 from the Soldier Summit route. The activity is Amtrak CZ workshop run for the Chicago Racetrack Route. The horn does work using the horn button in the hud. As does the bell. All the other Amtrak F40 units seem to work ok using the space bar.
