BluePrint editor doesn't open...

Unread postby MadMike1024 » Fri Apr 01, 2011 4:28 am

All at once, during a skinning session, the blueprint editor wouldn't open anymore. When I select it, it shrinks to the task bar, shows as active, but doesn't open a window. Rebooting didn't help, going to try the file verify.

It's a bug, and something I've seen more than once. I'm foggy on the exact fix, but try right-clicking on the taskbar icon and restore to full screen. You may then need to adjust the edges of the Blueprint Editor with your mouse afterward.
Cheers!

Go to thee railworks folder and open the temp folder. Delete the blueprint schema file (Back it up just in case). I always delete the entire contents of the temp folder with no adverse effects. Then close RW down and restart it and open any route then close and reopen and the blueprint editor should work. Always has fixed that problem for me . I believe a new schema file is generated when RW is started if there is not one present, but if the schema file gets messed up it will not regenerate until it is deleted.
Good Luck

Worked fine, thank you very much! Now, to kill the file system: 7 uploads coming. !*roll-laugh*!
