Can someone check and see if this is working for you? Mine stopped working on both copies of RW for me.

I did a fresh installation of TS2018 on my new computer and noticed something strange; my google API key was not entered in TS, but I could still get a super low resolution google map overlay in game. After entering my API key it went back to normal. Not sure if that helps.

Better yet, I have an instanced copy of TS with no API entered and it produces a 1280x1280, 7x7, Hybrid full sharpness Google Overlay...........

If TS2018 doesn't require a user to put an API in, that would be great

TS doesn’t have any control over this. The API is Google’s way of licensing and controlling the images.

I haven't used an API in game for over a year now. No problems.

So it turns out I believe that the issue was that if one is running the free edition one is only allowed 2500 maps per day. Lots of reading to find this little factlet. I was running a long chase over a undeveloped part of the MRL at a pretty high speed just getting a lay of the land so to speak. I think that's what happened to me because after not trying it for a few days without me doing anything it's now working again.
