Is there a way to put Krellnuts sounds into greatnorthners cars that I have bought from steam? I now am getting some kind of awful static from his cars. Any help would be appreciated.

First you should try to fix the problem with GN's cars on your installation. If they were awful for everyone we would have heard about it.
To use Krellnut's sounds for any rolling stock, you can learn how it's done by checking one that already uses them.
Open the wagon blueprint, find the name of the sound blueprint.
Open this, and you will see how it refers to Krellnut's sounds.
Modify the sound blueprint on GN's wagon so that it does the same.
I strongly recommend you use RW-Tools for all this, and that you use it as the default program for opening .bin and .proxybin files.

ok thanks 4 the reply but, I must have added something to the sim and that's when I noticed the weird sounds. Not sure what it is but I will be wiping out the Assets folder and let steam reinstall the folder. Thanks for the help. I pretty much know about folder structures so the reason I asked was just to see if it could be doable. As I have stated before not much time in life to run things but do like them to work. Funny I should say this about railworks as you have to add and modify so much to get it to work right in the first place LOL. Thanks.

Vanilla Railworks works just fine. It's only when we start tinkering that things start to go hinky. As far as the Great Northern car sounds they are just much more of a rumble that the stock sounds (when there are any) and much different than the Krellnut sounds which are by far and away the most realistic. To achieve the Krellnut sounds the easiest way if you have his wagon sounds installed is just alter the bin file to alias to the Kuju sounds which should point you to Wally's sound pack.
